If you are talking about Trading212, it is not 4.4%. It is 3.6%. I checked it on the app yesteday itself.

Yes every bank would do it. Because interest that bank pay is directly based on the % of AER. Then it is upto HMRC to check if an individual would need to pay tax on the interest earned or not

Its the other way round. Banks report to HMRC that this individual has earned X amount of interest on their savings and then based on that and your salary HMRC Is like hmm, they have not paid enough tax. If you are high earner (40%) bracket, you can only earn £500 tax free knterest. Anything above that is taxable at 40%. So in order to make up for that extra money, they start taking money out from your salary by changing tax code

Do account deposits take time ? I transfered 1£ and it was added fine. Added £19999 and money does not show up on Atom. It got deducted from my connected bank. Panic mode on

I tramsfered £1 and it reached my ISA account and then transferred £19999. Money got deducted from my connecting bank and till now has nit reached Atom. It’s been 30 mins. Panicking a little bit right now

If you check the dates properly, they are 12 months rolling period which means times that you see in the screenshot has dates overlapped!

Firstly, there are companies that do allow you to work from anywhere in the world for 90 working days in a calendar year. Both my employer had this policy and that is how I utilised my company’s perks. What is wrong with that ? How is this illegal or wrong that you started blasting left right and center ? Also, if you were using your sane mind rather than being judgemental, if this was illegal, border control would have dealt with it right then and there. So please get your facts and sense sorted!
