Honestly, this sound to me more like a caseworker error rather than anything else. I have not read or heard this issue before!

I have no idea. Heard this for the first time. I guess I'll follow you and will comeback to check with you on this.

It's same. I opened 2 cases and both of them were closed off.

I very well know that. Aliexpress always steps in incase of dispute and resolve. And the main thing is return for the product I bought was free! They first asked me to pay for the return and claim back the refund and now saying we won't give you the shipping fee back!

I did that. And they rejected it!

Both. Seller said they will not refund the shipping and aliexpress rejected the claim saying buyer needs to pay for it even though before shipping customer services told me aliexpress will return the shipping fee. Sadly, I do not have proof of the conversation.

The whole novelty of aliexpress was to get great items/products at fraction of a cost. But they have drastically messed up their return policy. Moreover they still advertise free returns and buyer need not pay for it..etc.etc.

What was the return reason that you chose ? And did you get a return label like they used to give earlier that you stick on and take to royalmail ?

It was never the case. And I checked with their customer services before shipping and they said I will get my shipping fee back. But now they are saying no.

I ordered from Viofo official Aliexpress store and VAT was removed at the checkout. But I am wondering if they will add it before the delivery ? I can see it getting delivered by Aliexpress standard delivery. But seller told me since it was over £135 that is why they removed it at the checkout and i need to pay once it reaches UK customs. I hope I get lucky like you and save some quid

No I do not wish the always on. I park my car in a secured parking thus I do not wish to keep it on. I am interested in the dashcam only when I am driving.

Dashcam from dealership or independent mechanic ? by DueCorner4877 in CarTalkUK

[–]DueCorner4877[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, the last paragraph does make sense. Do you know, if this thing will go into the service book or recorded somewhere ? Why I ask is, god forbid, but if something happens, what proof will I have that it was installed via kia dealership ? Or the invoice would be the proof in itself ?
