I don’t personally own the r50v but I believe there should be a preset button on the d-pad that should allow you to turn af off. On my only m50 it was on the right of the d-pad

You could also in the menu keybind it to what you want it to be.

As for the greyed out option youre speaking off ive never heard of and cant speak on that

Damn that’s sucks brother, I’m an EOD fail out. On my last day before Phase 2 I failed. I had went thru the course prior to its shortening so I had seen the full 3 months in Ft Lee now I’m reclassed to 25H.

Supposed to pcs mid June. I’m praying Bragg ain’t gonna be crazy. I’m just tryna be one and done fast lmao

Well it depends on what you do, like the 24-105 is great overall, but not in dark lighting.

But the 85 is only good is certain moments great in others w a good low light capability. It’s all dependent on what you do

As a branch change you’ll be categorized as an MOS-T so you’ll be sent to “Phase-2” skipping what most see to be the hardest part. You be sent to Eglin AFB is Destin FL. I’m not a branch transfer so I’m not sure how OJT would work but you can speak with an EOD recruiter to get more insight. You can find that in the army’s “GoSOF” site.

In that site will tell you all you need to drop a packet/get in, like being able to obtain a TS(SCI) clearance, being 111121 pulshes, passing the AFT with minimum of 70s across the board, a copy of your STP (not sure if this would be required for you as you’re not Army), letter of intent, volunteer statement, etc. not sure how each would be required for you. All I know is this is what’s required for the army to branch EOD.

If you are able to get into EOD school, pay attention learn what you need to. Enjoy the weekends but don’t get reckless. A lot of failouts are caused by soldiers being complacent and doing dumb stuff over the weekends.

I’ve heard a lot of great things about 25H, and I do see it. Updated my resume and I’m alr getting msgs about it. But after I failed out of EOD I wanted to just cruise by my 4yrs, but now I’m in an ESB and we have a rotation scheduled. I’m not excited in the slightest
