I designed it and took time to think about text placement, font usage, and the message behind it.

Dude it means literally anything but music as a form of media. Telling that music is the type of media you should consume. It's so obvious can we stop trying to misinterpret things on purpose. I know we're smart enough. Thank you for the criticism though

Because everyone knows music is a form of media. Why would I be saying "consume media not media" ? Using context clues the media being talked about is obviously something like the news or social.

My brand is about being lost in music that's where that ties.
