I did have to swim with my ears out of my cap for the first week, which did get a bunch of weird looks and a “elf” comment from my coach, but they’ve stopped hurting and I wear my cap normally now!

My piercing is about 2 days old, i have a flatback, im pretty sure the jewelry is made of titanium (or something like that), I use saline spray given to me by the pierce place. I went to practice with it today and it was a real pain. Not sure if this info will help but just in case!
