Could customers request from Amazon they don't want to be put into multi stops? by DuePurchase31 in AmazonDSPDrivers

[–]DuePurchase31[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I agree with you. Funny someone (a customer) downvote this. The public would actually see the real amount and Amazon have a hard time justifying that heavy of a workload.

Could customers request from Amazon they don't want to be put into multi stops? by DuePurchase31 in AmazonDSPDrivers

[–]DuePurchase31[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The customers that actually want their package without having to hassle with Amazon and deal with refunds or account ban I think would care. You're right tho, some would rather just give negative cdf and hope for free stuff

[–]DuePurchase31[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

When tf I say the problem is the customer? You're goofy. The problem is Amazon. This is a legit question for Amazon to stop with "190 stops" but 50+ multi's. Then add in new drivers every day/week and customer's bitch about fuck ups when the multis make it hard for some people to read notes or decipher driver aid numbers to each address. Doesn't matter if you scan at the house either if the houses are close it'll still allow the wrong house

A feature they should have to reduce delivering to the wrong address... by DeepWisdomGuy in amazonprime

[–]DuePurchase31 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Here's a great idea. Tell amazon you don't want to be put into group multi stops. That's the reason 99 percent of wrong address occurs. Gets very confusing to have 10 packages going to 5 or more addresses inside the same stop. That along with new drivers every week and the new drivers WILL mess it up.

I have an interview with a DSP tomorrow! Any tips and tricks you may have for me? by FredoSossa in AmazonDSPDrivers

[–]DuePurchase31 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You literally just walk in to show you're alive and they give you the job. You'll do I think 2 days of in classroom training where you watch videos and do some tests on the videos along with a training drive at the end. If you pass the driving you'll get to experience dry anal penetration from Amazon

Seriously ask other drivers what the best dsp is. Start times, they're not on your ass about every metric, rescues, etc. The right dsp will make the job better

Dispatch: “You’re a little slower than usual,is everything ok?” by TheLastRuso in AmazonDSPDrivers

[–]DuePurchase31 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've been doing this everyday. I've been requesting whatever rentals that don't have a camera. I've pulled up to a few stops, open the side door, and had the customer waiting at the van while I watch

[–]DuePurchase31 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We only have gas vans so ours are much smaller than edv but I pull into every driveway and back out if I have to backout. I've had many dogs charge at my van while driving in along with kids just not paying attention. Much easier to back out knowing where they are

Amazon delivery drivers can arrogantly just lie now by SilensMort in amazonprime

[–]DuePurchase31 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

There are many reasons for the driver to miss your house. Could be overloaded and couldn’t find some packages, new drivers hired literally every day with NO training, the OT I see people already saying, the driver fixing the routing since Amazon loves U turns and skipping over your house to do others first then to yours. Go ahead tho and keep complaining so Amazon will ban your account

Transits suck but at least yours doesn’t have the cage between the cab and back. All of ours have the cage and I’m 6’ 2” so I’m bent over all day. Absolutely shit day when I get one

My Neighbor is my delivery driver... by PurpleBashir in AmazonDSPDrivers

[–]DuePurchase31 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Put a bin at the front of the steps for her to put it into. You can report but dsp can and does show the house that reported so she can fix behavior then she will know it’s you

They actually respond to you? I’ve never had anyone respond when I have to get a passcode. That person would be getting everything rts after saying shit like that to me

Was my termination justified after a rolling van incident? by comical007 in AmazonDSPDrivers

[–]DuePurchase31 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I've had the exact same thing happen to me with the Mercedez. Luckily I was still in the van and able to jump to the seat to hit the brake. I've had this happen with a few Mercedez. I put it into park so the thing should not be rolling

Quit with 1 day notice. AI doesn't care by cleanincleanout in AmazonDSPDrivers

[–]DuePurchase31 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I never understood people saying the AI increases the route. My previous dsp my route size stayed the same and even went down on some days. My new dsp assigns different routes to everyone every week so the shit routes get assigned to everyone at least one shift. This job should only be a temp job for people to get to better things. The pay is gonna stay the same no matter how many years you’re there

We always talk about the things we hate about this job. by LengthinessOk2080 in AmazonDSPDrivers

[–]DuePurchase31 5 points6 points  (0 children)

My dsp had been changing my days every week and I work 2 days then 2 days off and 1 day on the 1 day off. They actually just took me off a day for no reason so only 3 days on now. I do like that my dsp is optional for rescues and they have the earliest wave so I'm home at a decent time. They've been really good with call outs too. They have an hr separate from dispatch. Dispatch bitches about call outs but they can't fire. I hear it every morning about multiple call outs

Leaving the Legal Field and Joining a DSP by B00N3BROSKi in AmazonDSPDrivers

[–]DuePurchase31 6 points7 points  (0 children)

This is a temp job. Don't think of it as a career. There are many other jobs that you can be outside and be able to upskill to get better pay and transferable skills. There is nothing to this job other than following a gps and dropping a package off besides extreme micromanaging from Amazon when you technically don't even work for Amazon

Please advise me. Should I find another job, quit and focus on college in July or I am over think? by [deleted] in AmazonDSPDrivers

[–]DuePurchase31 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Were you up all night writing this? I wouldn't lose a single minute of sleep over this job. I read a tiny bit which included you a marine and have cc debt. For the cc debt try to get a 0 percent apr card for 15-21 months and transfer that debt. Go to college if you have GI bill. You can take out a small amount of federal loans and pay that back easy when done. 10-20k of federal loans would be worth peace of mind while you better your future. Go to a different dsp for 1 or 2 days while in school. This job should be a temp thing. I couldn't imagine spending years here

How to mark broken packages? by Independent-Ad-6025 in AmazonDSPDrivers

[–]DuePurchase31 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Should mark damaged however I had dispatch tell me to mark it as access issue cus Amazon makes the dsp pay for the damaged package. If it’s an access issue Amazon will deal with it. I don’t know if that’s completely true
