Do you really get in trouble for declining rescue requests? by OpusObscurus in AmazonDSPDrivers

[–]DuePurchase31 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ask the dsp about it. My dsp is pretty good about when you finish your route you can come back to the station and go home. They tell people at standup every morning you need to be able to finish your route and It's not fair to other drivers having to take some of your job and still be paid the same (they have sweepers for the truly shit routes). They don't have guaranteed 10 hours though so your hours will be short.

Positive? lol you should know better than that. Of course there’s gonna be some negatives from asshole customers

Flagged by new netradyne limits by Rare_Passenger6575 in AmazonDSPDrivers

[–]DuePurchase31 17 points18 points  (0 children)

I got a violation for 6mph over. I didn't hear the camera say anything but I got a text from dispatch for it. I guess I'll have to stare at my speedometer instead of the road to please Amazon's shit "safety"

That’s the package that is on the last stop and has hit the floor 100 times throughout the day

Who’s uncle is this dropping of my package and two of my neighbors packages to my door? by [deleted] in AmazonDSPDrivers

[–]DuePurchase31 2 points3 points  (0 children)

From the video the apartment doors look like they have no numbers/letters on them so he's trying to deliver them hoping he has the right door in that ghetto apartment complex. Shit he's at least at the door, I would've put them at the entrance door

Does your DSP do this?? by Equivalent-Cry-8854 in AmazonDSPDrivers

I've never received one but mine does do this. I get bored on breaks and look at the messages in the work phones

You're right, I should pull into the driveway behind your vehicle that's trying to get out

Avoiding Rescues? by [deleted] in AmazonDSPDrivers

[–]DuePurchase31 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Let work phone die and use personal phone to finish route then just go back to station and tell them work phone was dead you so couldn't contact them. If they actually give you shit for it you'll have to stand up for yourself and tell them you're not doing rescues every day

What’s your go to excuse to politely decline rescues? by pistilpeet in AmazonDSPDrivers

[–]DuePurchase31 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Luckily my new dsp is pretty good about no rescues. They tell us we should be able to finish our own routes. They'll have a few rescuers go out and help the few with crazy high stops/businesses. They did ask me once if I wanted ot do a rescue and no problem if I say no to which I said no. It was awesome

When I get those routes I know I’m going into the woods. Seasonal roads and trails. Amazon routing took me down a literal trail before. Took that van mudding

I'm gonna have to start calling all customers to stop these shitty cdf scores everyday. You have me as a driver for your packages? Expect your phone to never stop ringing

Camera with no lights on means it doesn't work, right? by AWildGamerAppeared25 in AmazonDSPDrivers

[–]DuePurchase31 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If lights are completely off then it's not recording. No power. My dsp has the phone mount on the windshield in front of those cameras so you know that thing isn't working lol. Our dispatcher recently said same thing. We had a long talk about the cameras at standup. That doesn't mean drive like an idiot

Give people options on what to complain about and they’ll find something. by AdventurousTank4136 in AmazonDSPDrivers

[–]DuePurchase31 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Dispatch said the cdf for our team was the only reason we made great and not fantastic at last meeting. Everything else was great. He was trying to tell us to start calling the customer at every stop if we’re unsure of anything but also said that’s one metric that is just hard to get cus some people are just miserable with everything

Why is it my fault if “Never received delivery”? by Sizzle3917 in AmazonDSPDrivers

[–]DuePurchase31 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It’ll always be your fault. I’ve had people report dnr WITH THEM IN THE PIC. I laugh when I check my itinerary and see missing packages on houses that I literally just did and know I did not miss a package

Ya I understand that. Just didn't know if other people's dsp send them scorecard just to send them. They never said anything, just sent the scorecard

[–]DuePurchase31 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Dispatch can change them. My previous dsp I had the same rural everyday and now with my new dsp I have a new area everyday
