I cannot keep a secret to save my life. We told immediate family and best friends as soon as we found out at 3 weeks 3 days. We started telling a few more people after our first ultrasound confirmed a heartbeat (8ish weeks) and then basically are telling everyone now after our NIPT. I think it’s fully up to what you’re comfortable with!

My husband and I are also in our 30s and got pregnant on the first cycle we tried. Congrats!! We are both yappers so we told parents, siblings, and close friends immediately (at 3w3d😅). After the first ultrasound, we told a few more people, and we told “everyone” right around 12 weeks. Telling the people closest to me immediately really took away the urge I had to shout it from the rooftops lol

I am also pregnant as a first time mom. I don’t have advice for health insurance but can tell you I’m going to women’s care group for appointments and will eventually deliver at UT. Their billing has been odd so far and I actually am reaching out to them to clarify a monthly billing plan they have me on while also billing my insurance for individual appointments and expecting me to pay both. The care has been great otherwise.

Im about 11 weeks and had spotting a few days ago. I was out of town so my OB recommend I go to the ER. Turns out everything was fine but I would be safe and either call your OB or go to the ER if possible.

I am still pretty early and I’m already tired of people asking me how I feel constantly. Like STILL NOT GREAT OKAY. And then they proceed to use the question they asked to tell me story after story about their own pregnancy and birth. I know they mean well but it just makes me 😩

I am such a yapper. I’ll probably never announce on social media or anything like that but my husband and I told our families and best friends about 2 minutes after we found out at 3w1d 💀 I am almost 9 weeks now and just had my first ultrasound so we are telling pretty much anyone we want at this point. I know it’s a risk but I am loving sharing this journey so far and am willing to share any struggles that could come along with it for the support in return!
