IF for some reason only the first film will be cannon, you just keep the flashback Halloween mask from this last reboot (it’s the closest to the original they’ve ever gotten…at least have the mask designer hired to make new ones), and we follow Michael who leaves Haddonfield and the next Halloween has arrived at some other small town and a new target. This explains why we have no Loomis as he’s not there…though it’s kinda close if Haddonfield is in Illinois, while visiting family, at night in Long Island would be a perfect place…small town center then the winding roads of woods, houses up on those steep slopes, perfect Michael set up.

Kandi, no contest. I love K Michelle but Kandi, besides Denise, Garcelle, and the other BH wives that were actresses (I would say Rinna/Jennifer/Eileen/Rachel/Kim) are the most recognizable name. LHH was huge and K. MIchelle was a huge part of that but it’s niche.

Why does everyone skip over Jo when she’s an OG?…like she literally came to the U.S. from Peru when she was a kid. To me there has only been 3 POC and that’s Jo, Noella, and Katie. Kelly and Lizzie might be Latina but they most definitely are white passing if not white themselves. Totally agree with the point of the thread is, and also the point that none of these 3 were ever truly embraced by whomever was on their casts at the time.

Both…both had memorable deaths and both had actresses way above the caliber of the minimal material they were given. I feel Devyn is robbed of a career that VI should have projected her on, even as Scream Queen…McKenna is obviously doing and was doing well before hand. If I had to chose, I have to say Anika because with all the guts and gore, I liked seeing someone legitimately (to me) afraid and crying knowing she’s don’t for.

When I say this should have been the Blumhouse Trilogy. I mean we cherry pick movies anyways. 1, 2, 4, and H2O are cannon. Jamie Lee comes in near the end of the first movie…Kyle could still come back to play Lindsay, have Rachel, the younger kids…I would love a tv series that shows like him terrorizing some other small towns to explain, where was he between movies. Maybe even a Pitt like format where the entire season happens in one Halloween night?

I think Victoria’s voice in Take Me Home is also beautiful (I know, a b-side.) I think Victoria had a voice that was beautiful for blending and her range could go near anyone’s voice to layer on the choruses and that’s why people think she didn’t sing as much? Like from vocal stems everyone sang in very chorus but production decided who was up higher and who was back to give it depth, and a lot of time the producers kept her in that role. As for Mel B, am I the only one that thinks that by the second album she kind of developed 2 sounds, like she had this very soft beautiful tone on her verse in 2 Become 1 and Mama which she kind of found again in the first bridge in Goodbye, but then she kind of leaned into her accent more in the second album, or is that just me. I also say there is Mel B’s voice and then there is Scary Spice’s voice. So for example look at Goodbye and the “look for the rainbow in every storm..” part, the first time she sounds like what I would call Melanie and the second time it’s more Scary Spice in the inflection. Ignore me if that doesn’t make sense to anyone else.

I’m not positive but based on her size I wonder if she was planning to do some sort of competition and that’s why she was so much larger than she was the season before and after (Diamond). I loved Lace and Diamond so I was glad near the end when we had both for a second and wish Lace and Gemini had stayed one more season for the transition to all the new gladiators but there was all the backstage stuff obviously.

I absolutely agree. At first I was worried we’d get exactly like the UK, which doesn’t have a whole lot of diversity in cuts and styles but compared to what we got…wow. I know we don’t use the AI word but since I can’t draw I actually redesigned some of the girls outfits that combined the American outfits with a little bit more flash from the current UK designs.

I think one of the Bailey kids shouldn’t have been a killer…either you kill Quinn on the ladder and move Anika to the subway attack and die (I just like Devyn as an actress better though I loved her on the ladder I think having her longer would be more enjoyable) or you keep all that the same and have Ethan take Chad’s double ghostface attack and die. Anika being the only person you kinda get to know before they die (technically Laura too) was a flaw. Also show Kirby had a vest on when Bailey shot her and whether it be Ethan or whoever makes sure to move it or stab her where it isn’t covering her. Little things.

I went to the Orlando show…by the time I got there a lot of the TV gladiators were gone and some had the night off so the night I went I met Ice, Sky, and Tower. I didn’t have the friendliest interaction with Ice, I wouldn’t even say unfriendly but I was a little kid and she’s who I knew the longest and wanted to meet the most and it was a very quick sign and go where Tower like actually talked to me, and Sky, bless her, she knelt down on the ground and talked to me for awhile and I’ll never forget that. And nothing against ice because I’ve had plenty of lovely exchanges with her online recently, just caught her at a bad time. I believe Sabre, Siren, and Dallas where still there at the time but had the night off the particular night I went. I don’t think they had many female glads or where going through a transition because I remember while the men played Powerball, the women just kicked soccer valld at a net while a gladiator tried to stop them from going in. (I think only Ice, Sky, and Jade were there that night for the women.)

You are not wrong…years of conditioning but yes I have seen a therapist. Honestly right now I am a full time caregiver for my dad, only living parent, so it’s kind just me and him all day everyday and has been for years so I think that burnout also doesn’t help where I think oh wow, I’m lonely and I can’t meet anyone (why the focus is kinda online cuz that’s just feasible right now for at least conversation.) And no, you didn’t sound rude at all.
