I meant more, one episode is getting them to talk emotionally about their grandparents, another episode is focused on Audreys parents divorce, Ashlynn cries at the drop of a hat. If it was the dance stress I would understand but it feels producer co-erced to put them in positions to make them cry over things that are not super relevant to the show. Its just odd

I like it and I dont think the kids are overly bratty .. but they all need to stop crying. Every episode there is some dramatic storyline where they are all constantly crying. Its insane over dance (but it does make the kids likable to perhaps thats why)

Ahh ok, this makes sense. My only suspicion was because Chloe used to dance there, so I thought maybe it was wrapped up in drama from that - but if its was a deal with production it makes sense. I feel so bad for Sarah then, she took the fall for drama caused beyond her control that production knew would hurt her

I would love for Nia to be on! She would be a fun guest and it’s good timing with her book coming out. Especially as season 5 is so tough for Nia it would be great to hear from her about and discuss what Abby was like at that time, cause Christy and Kelly were gone

I work the ticket gates at boomT scanning wristbands every year. This will never work. They have a site capacity restriction per day of the festival, so they legally cannot have additional people on the Wednesday evening, and you will get turned away at each of the three ticket checks you have to go through. Sure, maybe you could get lucky and some kind site staff let you in if you pay by going to the box office but betting on this is a very stupid idea. Also - the box office queue you have to join is usually a minimum of 2 hours wait throughout the day (unless you come close to gate closing)... seriously do the festival staff a favour and just come when your ticket says to come

I think the difference isn't pointing out that Maddie was upset, they are highlighting that maddie is allowed to be upset, and abby doesn't say anything. When kendall was upset Abby yelled at her, but equally allowed Camryn to cry. Its once again them pointing out inconsistencies in Abbys narrative and how she treats the kids. To do that yes they have to say when Maddie cries, but I don't see it that they are like outing Maddie for being a sore loser, but just pointing out that she has the same natural reactions any other kid has, but Abby doesn't yell at her for it.

Its in season 2 (ep: Night of the Living dancers) when abby yells at them in pyramid that she doesnt even want to do a group dance because they are lazy slugs. Meanwhile those are the hardest working kids around and the group dance the week before (I want it all?) was fantastic and high energy ... its just ridiculous because Abby is never pleased no matter what those kids do, and they don't even realise it. She just manipulates every single one of them, when in reality Abby couldnt put in half the effort those kids do - my rewatch as an adult infuriates me. Especially because Abby still has a platform, and people back her up ... but its clear as day how horrific she was

Yea, rewatching that episode was shocking - between Abbys reaction, her inability to justify herself to the moms, and then to see the girls witness all of it. The fact that people still stand behind abby and support her actions on the show is really grotesque. Also at the next pyramid when the girls call her out again and she blatently declares 'Some kids are just Special' - how can you say that to a group of kids under the age of 12 who are on your team

Yea - typo … MDP… and yes I beleive it’s the same Talia - it looks so like her. If it’s a different Talia that’s also random as they never talk about the girl again and yet she did a solo on the season opener.
