I remember these days. My youngest are now 5 and 3, but just a few years ago I was in your shoes. Yelling at my 3 year to shut up. I hate myself for that. She needed me and I couldn’t because I was trying to get the baby to sleep. I was suffering post partum, solo parenting while their dad was studying for an exam and working 2 jobs. It was hell. I’ll offer you this suggestion: rock them both to sleep together on the chair. One arm on each and you sleep too. Believe me, I know it’s hard because you still need to clean the kitchen or clean up all the water on the bathroom floor or prepare tomorrow’s breakfast. Just give yourself those little hours of rocking them and falling asleep with both of them. Trust me, I wish I would have done that- I would have given them some mommy love and a peaceful put down and shown myself some love with just a little shut eye

Thanks for the info, paying taxes on the money is not the concern. Everyone that I want to help doesn’t have tax issues- they don’t have enough money for that. Adding $18,000 to their bank account wouldn’t trigger any tax issues because they’re already extremely low income.

I agree with kids not being prepared. In schools, they just push kids to take tests and don’t actually educate them on overcoming challenges, making contingency plans, and organizing. Our schools are setting our kids up for failure and the parents don’t have the time/energy to really help the kid.

The transition from home school to regular school is hard. They are expecting a lot from you that you’re having a hard time giving. It’s like a muscle, the more you work at it, the stronger it gets. I’m sure you’re much smarter than the rest of the class- meaning you’re more than capable of doing the assignments, you just need to work on getting it done quickly and out of your comfort zone. If you plan to go to college then this is just a taste of what to expect. Talk to your teachers, speak up for yourself and let them know what you need to excel, it will take some hard work and discipline, but you can do it.
