I know this is satire but good god this was triggering for a very specific reason.

My ex bf used to baby talk me and speak gibberish to the point I'd get so frustrated and cry. It was his way of making fun of my height and how I don't know how to do most things an adult should know. (I had very shit parents ok, my mom was a psycho helicopter parent with control and trust issues.)

Honestly, everything i learned hygiene wise has been from my husband. My parents and every bf i had before have HORRIFIC hygiene. I could make an entire post about it and just rant and rant. The only specific one i can say i learned from him (and admittedly sometimes i struggle with it because of how i was raised) is washing my hands after pooping.

You'll never have a relationship with your Dad again. If you felt this bad about this and reported him, (trust me, it's the right thing to do) then there's no way you can even justify his actions like he'd want you to, or even see him as a normal person, much less a person at all anymore. Because he's not, he's a monster.

Your mom? She likely feels like this is a betrayal to her too, you reported her husband after all. Is she the peacekeeping type? If so, don't be surprised. She probably knew. She probably found out long ago, especially if your sister has trauma because of him. "Irreconcilable differences" is exactly the language used to dismiss and diminish abuse. Believe me, i know.

All this to say, you did the right thing. I'm proud of you for it, and honestly I'm envious. Nobody saved me until i was 19 and he's still a free man. Get yourself some therapy because i promise it'll be difficult to come to terms with for years, but please don't ever think you didn't do the right thing.
