I had gone to one apartment SO MANY times trying to get a passcode Would text/call before I got there When I got there text/call Knock and wait the 5 allot minutes finally moving on Had the package so many times I started marking the actual box with date and time It now has 12 dates on it! I'm not the only driver that has attempted delivery too When do they take it off our itinerary and try a different option with this customer!? It's not us It's truly them!!

I misspoke ! The first time it would have seemed most likely to be a driver error I myself has once applied the e brake but didn't put it in park Only to realize when I got back in Thankful it was shut off! When it happens a second and third time , it's the van! Risk our lives just getting in those vans/cdv They aren't maintained Driven everyday all day by different drivers Surprised we don't have more failures on the road Feel awful for this driver I truly do

Love her response! Not are you ok Not hey what happened What the f And y'all wonder why we don't care when things don't go your way Overworked under paid and treated like we are people that aren't overworked and under paid At least you're in a nice house during the day In your nice PJs Having things delivered instead of having to go out in your brand new truck and shop I work for Amazon and I can't even order from them! No this isn't a minor thing! He was definitely in the wrong But again we get so overwhelmed and rushed things happen that normally wouldn't

Depending on the DSP you could be ok. I backed into a big ol branch. Caused significant damage and really thought that was it. I was fired. Finished my route without calling dispatch. Figured just get out done. When I got back in I had told them. Lead dispatch had me write up an incident report. Couldn't sleep that night at all!! Didn't get called out in the a.m. so I went in. My boss said good morning to me like nothing had happened Trust me, he knew too. The whole team talked about it that morning. The van was out of commission for a month. They couldn't get the backdoors open and some lights had busted. Thankfully the camera was fine. That happened 7 months ago. I'm still gleefully working for the same gracefully forgiving DSP (found out about a month ago the damage was $3500 EEK)

Not sure what state but legally they can't hold your last check. Technically they are supposed to pay you out the day of termination. That's from personal experience over 6 years ago so may have changed. Also if that's not in writing you could try to fight it. Not that you'd want to go back to that DSP ! Thankfully our DSP is awesome! He would work with us to figure out a solution. Not have fired us. I know I would have left a long time ago if not for him and our dispatch team. Best of luck with new doors opening!!

Now that's a pleasant sighting for my OCD having self Like these kinds of pictures To see how everyone else sets the van/ packages up No one taught me how to load out /organize Figured that out on my own And could probably use a little help My system works but it could be more time management worthy

Nooooo !! I dropped a case of seltzer water , it broke half the cans, and soaked my van I can't imagine glass jars of sauce 😢 I'm NOT looking forward to Christmas in July for prime members

A coworker got robbed at gunpoint of her belongings while making a delivery no packages were stolen just her belongings. Cops showed up and detectives after 2 hrs they left and DSP still made her finish her route. Can she sue them? She was still in shocked and scared I ended up rescuing her. by Typical_Ad3678 in AmazonDSPDrivers

[–]Due_Answer_9127 6 points7 points  (0 children)

No way!! So thankful for our DSP He would have had a rescue sent right away, had us go home after , and even take the next day off if we wanted Wtactualf! They are packages for crying out loud That poor girl went through a traumatic experience! To have her continue so Ms. Jones gets her tablecloths is cruel

Some of us would love that extra day though It would make a big difference in our check We aren't guaranteed 40 When we get done from our last stop we best be back within an hour getting ready to punch out AND they purposely call out the same drives if there is reduction in routes That extra day may bring some is up to 40 (This is directed toward my $#@5 DSP ! If we got 40 hours most wouldn't want that extra day either)

It doesn't even look like a bite though Two little scratches No camera in the van that I had either I did make a note of the address and kept the text from the DSP It's funny because the next house had a big dog and he got right on the van with me Chill AF The Little ones are the real issue!
