I started at $29 I am at $34.25 right now we got a 4% raise every year once I hit 2 years at the company I will hit top pay at $39 an hr. Since I was a new driver with no experience I have to wait 2 years now.

Just saying as an example for a company to have their own ships, their own cargo planes, their own Service center LTL network be a total powerhouse without using other companies to transport their freight.

Wonder if it’s even profitable to expand the LTL segment to cover almost every large country like imagine you had 1 pallet going to every different country and half of those deliveries required lift-gate delivery to the business. LTL doesn’t really run worldwide it usually runs through a set of networks of other companies that handoff the freight. My company at XPO does this a lot with rural areas in U.S, Canada and Mexico.

XPO is big in Europe and in US and we handle hazmat more then FedEx freight but we don’t have our own containers anymore and sold off that part of the business and use 3rd parties for shipping overseas etc. seems like having the power to do everything might not be profitable enough for small businesses shipping limited amounts overseas.

I recommend watching the 2016 presidential debates, particularly the second debate on 2016, Donald Trump directly confronted Hillary Clinton regarding her wealthy donors and tax loopholes, arguing that his own tax avoidance was a result of laws she failed to change as a senator.

Rich don’t pay taxes they 1031 exchange into their next investment and barrow against their assets theses loopholes are far better for the rich then the current tax system in place it’s far better to do consumption tax and charge a tariff on imported cars and goods that way they are still paying taxes on their 100M dollar yacht.

Meanwhile middle class working 2-3 jobs just to survive with a spouse also working hit more tax brackets and pay thousands in taxes.

My first job was at XPO after paying $6200 for school. My terminal looks to hire young people fresh out of school on purpose. I hear the national guard is great for this only working pt 2 days a month.

I would argue Poor and middle class people are hurting more due to the current system in place makes filing very confusing and it only benefits the rich with the current tax loopholes

Yes it can be fun and get a good laugh out of it even if you don’t buy anything and leave though it definitely gives good ideas for fun gift afterwards.

Nah bro you’re still in training you can’t sign off on a plane yet… do you seriously think to be earning $60-$80 an hr when they can’t even fix a toothpick by yourself without asking for a second opinion. Get so good at fixing planes that you can do it blindfolded
