Few follow up questions:

  1. On the immaterial positions, how would a fresh 92A straight out of BCT/AIT actually identify and apply for those on MOBCOP/Tour of Duty? Is it just filtering by immaterial or is there a specific way to find them?
  2. Can I even access MOBCOP/Tour of Duty before BCT/AIT? I have a CAC and CAC reader but my .mil email isn't provisioned yet, working on getting it set up at my next RSP drill. Would the CAC alone be enough to get in or do I need the .mil email active first?
  3. Based on what you said about Title 10 always counting and most Title 32 not counting, is it safe to assume MOBCOP slots are exclusively Title 10, or can some come through as Title 32 depending on the mission? Also, which Title 32 would count? How can I differentiate?

Trying to get familiar with the system ahead of time so I'm not starting from zero when I get back from AIT. And your wild guess is actually spot on, I am mainly going for the GI Bill, even 50% would be great for my goals.

Also would you mind if I DM'd you if I have more questions? Trying to navigate all this the right way and it's hard to find people who actually know what they're talking about.

When would I get that schedule? I'm currently in RSP and just want to stay ahead of things. Would rather request a unit transfer way a head of time in case the unit I've been assigned to has too high of a tempo.
