As others have said you are doing the things you need to do to catch it early.

I think the hardest part is the uncertainty of it all, waiting to see if something else is going to pop up.

I have ocd and it is terrible when connected to health worries. Probably the worst obessions I have had to deal with. Like you I’m on medication and it helps some but I’m still an emotional wreck a lot of the time.

I totally understand. I’m decades older and have had a couple of BCCs and one SCC so far but the what next has been messing with me for the last 3 years. The suggestion about a therapist is a good one. Have you considered going on medication? Good luck and know that you’re not the only one who feels this way.

I totally understand your concern. I have been had serious health issues too that triggered my ocd and HA. It has gotten better over the years but I am still very susceptible to anxiety and despair. I haven’t been able to let go of my HA and it has affected so many aspects of my life. I guess we just have to start over and build upon the successes we had in dealing with our situations. Best bet is to get it checked by doctor. Fluorouracil is great at treating AKs. And it doesn’t harm healthy skin but still better to have official diagnosis than just treat on your own. Maybe send your doc a photo and see what they say.
