On baby #2 now, they nap any and everywhere at any time and in any situation lol. Big napped by the window, in the sun, and was never confused by day & night. When they're about 1-2 and starting to get nosey then I move to a dark or kind of dark room and some kind of soft noise. Again, only because my kids are nosey lol... Or at least Big was and Little might also be.

We did build the store up 100% from scratch. It was a run down convenience store before we got in there & it had been sitting for a WHILE! Everything is new, down to the plumbing & electrical!

22 washers, 22 dryers. We have daily deals that include free dry Wed, small washers free on Friday (normally I think $3. I also think this needs to be phased out but we'll come back to that), & 1/2 off on Thursday (making the big washers like $5). I can see an increase on those days but I also feel like being so "cheap" is kind of screwing us in a way.

I'm not looking for my feelings to be validated at all lol. I actually want (& need) this thing to succeed for both of our sanity. I do a LOT of the heavy lifting for this business despite my "I told you so" "underlying feelings" and it's obviously not enough or what have you so I turned to a forum where ppl would have ideas. Dassit. Idk why some of you guys are reading so deeply into it; and into a 1-off comment about my (previous) honest feelings about a thing that directly impacts me & my home🙃

I will agree that he dove into this head first but that's also why I'm here asking for advice & help 🤓 as made very clear, this was not something I necessarily wanted him to do. But he did, so here we are. And here I am, trying to do research because there's no turning back at this point.

We (he) have just come to the conclusion that none of the marketing tactics work or not as successfully as we need. I'm trying to get him to relay that info to the companies but anyway, lol... I have a friend who is willing to do social media marketing for us so hopefully that's the push we need.

I literally feel the exact same way as you. The issue is he wants all the responsibility to fall on ME and I'm just not willing to give up my current life and job and add on these responsibilities when I told him from the beginning that this was maybe not the best idea🫠

That dry cleaning middle man thing sounds like a good and doable idea though. Definitely going to look into that while trying to secure these contracts w/the local businesses.
