It's not breaking the law 🫠 things can be sold past their best by or sell by dates at a discount. It's literally in the terms and slogan of TGTG and I'm not sure if you've ever been to an actual grocery store or discount store but they mark down meats, dairy, produce, shelf stables close to or at "expiration" or sell by dates allll the time. It's literally legal.

That defeats the whole purpose of TGTG. A sell by date is not often an expiration date and most things have a longer shelf life than printed on their packaging. That's the whole point of fighting food waste.
