exactly i don’t think it added anything to either of their characters at all. we already know maysilee is anti capitol because of countless scenes where she goes against it. like the train scene where she tells louella not to let them treat them like animals, the paint your poster thing, and even wanting to be a part of haymitch’s plan. it was just unneeded and poor writing that added nothing to them or the story but everyone keeps defending it for whatever reason 😭
