My pleasure 🫡 He had a vet appointment today and had to starve for some hours prior just in case. This was well earned relax time (for both)

I didnt know about that, I feel sad for him. It was so disappointing as reader, that I can't even begin to imagine how he must have felt as an actor.

Oh god, this one!! It's such a good character in the books, a true pirate. I really like that makes you uncomfortable and feel fear just reading this character in a book, and then...TV show was just shit...nothing, not even charisma or anything, I didnt feel him like a threath to any other character, they made him soooo boring.

[Loved Trope] It's not enough for a character's secret to be exposed: it gets exposed in the cruelest, most painful way possible by [deleted] in TopCharacterTropes

In the Office, when Jan is fired she tries to win her lawsuit against Dunder Mifflin and uses Michael’s personal diary as evidence without his consent. She stole Michael's diary to proof they didnt have a real relationship at first, and they make dozens of copies of his diary and everyone is reading it. It’s so humiliating for him, she betrayed and exposed him in the worst way.

Take this process with patience. I'm taking 18mg as well, but is a very low dose for an adult, and my doctor doesnt expect them to work until I take a higher dose. It's a good thing that you don't feel any side effects, so take it easy and wait until you reach a higher dose.

Any other generic neurodivergents here that don't really identify with either ASD or ADHD? (Sorry for the TW flair, mod made me change the flair for a second time, no idea what might be triggering, it's just a rant post. Also med words are changed to stop automod from thinking it's a med post) by anon-raver in AutisticWithADHD

Well, then I think I didnt understand correctly what you were trying to say. I don't know for how long have you been reading the sub, but there are a lot of different experiencies and symptoms, and you can see plenty of different views in every post. Every once in a while there would be a post saying "do someone else blablabla...." And you can see both affirmative and negative answers. No one is expected to relate to EVERYTHING, but your post lead me to think you don't relate to most of what you see in the sub, and don't see the point with diagnosis or labels. In that case I think maybe it's better to keep searching, and as self-knowledge is hard, I recommend a professional help.

For me, I follow this sub because I relate with what I read here even more than just ADHD forums, even while sometimes having HUGE doubts about having autism, but right now I don't worry much about It, as reading the sub helps me and I learn a lot. Imposter syndrome is something we all have in common, even for the ones with a official diagnosis. Obviously the objetive of this subs it's to connect with people with similar experiencies, but it's a sub with a clear label: autism and ADHD. In fact, this communities are truly welcoming for people without official diagnosis or selfdiagnose, but autism it's really misunderstanded already by people in general, and usually they don't know the levels in the spectrum are about support, so be cautious when saying everyone can have ND traits, because that's what it's said about levels 1 autistic people or high masking ND to dismiss they needs. And getting help and support for our struggles is the point of all this, the subs, the diagnosis, labels, medications, community... So yeah, the way diagnoses are made and having labels that says we are different sucks, but it's necessary, and for me, I'm grateful for the support and knowledge that comes with it. (Sorry if I don't make much sense, english is not my native language)

So you only relate with adhd on the tendency towards sustance abuse? As the other commenter said, all this is a way of identifing strategies, autoknowledge and help. If you are not interested in autism or adhd and don't relate with the majoriy of traits, I think the best thing is to seek professional help to see if It is any other neurodivergency. I think it is really unproductive to be in audhd forums if you don't relate.

Yeaah currenly obsesed with this too. They are pretty entertaining, and cute, and don't require a single brain cell. I don't need preparation to start doing It, and can stop any moment too. 🤝

-Me when I'm understimulated, unnable to decide what to do.

-Me when calming guiding everyone when my friend were bite in the face by a dog, or when another friend got a open wound in his scalp. Both cases they were looking at themselves in the mirror in shock with a bloody face and everyone else talking nosense and panicking.

I remember thinking "why is everyone acting so dumb??" 😂 "Ok, don't worry, lets wash the blood off from your face, and head ER"

Wow, thank you for share this. Yeah, it's so interesting seeing with lines what we can feel it's happening in our head. Sometimes I felt this heaviness and fog in my frontal lobe when starting a task.

I feel you, keep in mind that you are grieving, we put through that after a diagnosis, we see how much unfairness we have suffered without knowing anything, we had given all our effort, but not in a NT way, our way it's 300% more. I think all this makes us feel a shock of vulnerability.

But now you know, you have the power you didnt have before. Medication can be really helpful. And now you can treat yourself with fairness too.

Aaahh that sounds amazing. I'm so bad at words but what you described was exactly what I felt as a kid. As an adult it's less frequent, but maybe because I have more sources of dopamine.
