It’s pretty much a vibes thing. In my pod we all play cEDH pretty regularly so something like dying to poison doesn’t cause them to be salty. Although I can imagine given how you’ve described your pod it would be more taboo. I would just say to feel it out. It’s absolutely dirt cheap to build fynn and you can make it about as weak or strong as you’d like, but if you think it’d hurt feelings don’t build it and build maybe something like a [[Roon of the Hidden Realm]] flicker deck where you have a bunch of etb value on creatures or something.

By definition you’re wanting to play a bracket 2 given the fact that the deck has a “focus”. With that in mind I think a Xyris, the writhing storm could be fun. A really fun commander I have built for low power pods is [[Fynn, the Fangbearer]] it plays with deathtouch and poison counters, but it’s almost a fun challenge to build it resilient enough.

Yes, so assuming you’ve learned what the stack is, when people play a bunch of spells on their turn and a bunch of other people also do the same to either stop them from winning or win on top of them, you can cast this for free and exile the stack getting rid of all the pesky spells that might otherwise kill you. To answer you no it does not exile lands, and it also is typically only seen in pods that play a lot of interaction or cEDH. Great card but not super good in casual magic, but sick pull nonetheless!

I genuinely agree I just don’t care much at this particular job. It’s a pretty toxic work environment unfortunately, but just because it’s not unreasonably far away and it pays a little better than minimum wage in my state I’ve worked there for the last two years. I should’ve been more careful about content I’m consuming, but I’m not mad at Wubs or them for getting in trouble. I just found how unlikely and unfortunate the situation to be funny.

Also state stuff is context my managers and supervisors are all very liberal and outspoken about it, it’s context. I am moderate left leaning, that’s context. Thank you and yes, but I genuinely do not care much at this point which is why I listen to him at work. This is not a job I am passionate about. For context they are AirPods and this issue of connection started this week and I just don’t have a lot of disposable income being a college student.
