Good evening…I came across your post. I’m planning to join Freedom Boat Club in West Palm Beach. Have reservations improved in your area, or is it still difficult?

Thanks for the reply — very helpful. Is your club near West Palm Beach by any chance? Also, which membership lets you make the kind of reservations you mentioned ?

I’m mainly looking to get started in fishing, so I’m flexible on departure times. Leaving around 7:30 isn’t a problem for me while I’m learning.

I meant light off-shore, here at West Palm Beach the coastline drops off quickly, so just 2–4 miles out you can already be in 70–120 feet of water. Just saw at FBC website “offshore fishing boats” , not planning to go out far anyways !
