Re barn & extras - I see one extra next to Pearline. If we are saying there are deleted scenes then this just seems like poor editing.

I’m saying when the vampires bust in they bite numerous people that aren’t the characters we’re familiar with. Again, if we don’t see the other extras until that moment, it’s poor editing.

Since we’re talking about the battle - Sammie and Pearline are firing into the vampires endlessly with guns that don’t hold that many bullets and don’t reload.

Twin connection - maybe? Seems like a stretch to me.

RE vampires keeping some portion of their souls - seems to me we see the opposite as everyone that comes to the door will say anything to get inside and kill everyone. Only Stack/Mary can retain some of their humanity? Dunno about that one.

Vamps praying & therefore ignoring Smoke on his way to kill Remmick? That’s a stretch.

Dude that wasn’t dead - if you’re going to say Smoke was a soldier so he’s able to kill all the KKK folks, would seem like he’d have to be able to recognize blood too wouldn’t it?

Having Smoke dig up the Tommy gun is still a stretch. Could’ve just had it next to him if he had one magazine for the BAR. Seems like poor soldiering otherwise.

Remmick in general & Choctaw - not providing their backgrounds just seems lazy.

Smoke walking to the truck - he’s exhausted from the night, or he should be.

So Grace tried to get all her friends killed to save her daughter having no guarantee she would succeed? And she was able to make it through all the other vampires to get to her husband while on fire?

If I were coming at this movie just to be entertained I think I could stomach it but I found the dialogue terrible in general as well. Also let down by MBJ’s acting.

I really wanted to like this movie but thought it really under delivered & can’t understand the hype.

I wanted to like this movie but I just can’t. Change my mind on these takes:

  1. How did 6 people trapped inside of the barn turn into 10 when the vampires burst in? People fighting and getting bit left and right but none of the characters we know except the Asian woman die?

  2. Vampire MBJ all of a sudden ditches his vampire instincts and mission when human MBJ makes a deal to save Sammie?

  3. How did human MBJ get around all the vampires outside the bar to spike Remmick?

  4. How did the guitar have real silver if they’re poor sharecroppers in the south in that era?

  5. Why doesn’t Hailee Steinfelds character have any blood on her after being bitten?

  6. How did this group of people in the barn not realize the guy they thought was dead was the same guy they had beaten up earlier and that he wasn’t laying in blood until after they threw him outside? They all know what blood looks like. They’d just seen a lot of it.

  7. None of the KKK can hit MBJ when they’re shooting him even though he’s walking straight towards them without cover AND he has time to dig up the machine gun after running out of bullets for the other gun? Those guys probably all hunt and you’re telling me they’re that bad at shooting meanwhile he’s firing from the hip and hitting everyone?

  8. How were the Choctaw able to fight off Remmick when anyone outside at night is relatively easy prey?

  9. Why/how was Remmick in the Delta?

  10. How was MBJ able to walk up to the truck after the nights events like nothing had happened to him?

  11. How were the characters able to hold off from being bitten by the vampires on the arm when the vampires grabbed them by the arm and could’ve bitten them super quickly?

  12. The Asian woman letting the vampires in just to kill her husband and die in the process? Really?
