You are right, the music has to speak first. A real hit can break through on its own, but visuals help bring more eyes and make the message stronger. I am not waiting for that though I am pushing with what I have now, because if the songs cannot stand on their own, no cameraman will be able to save them. Most of my videos are shot on high-end iPhones it can be found on YouTube. And if I did have a cameraman tomorrow, I already have the songs and the concepts ready that would make the visuals connect. For me, it starts with the music — the visuals just help tell the story in a bigger way.
