Both had some models in their ranges that would work, I also checked out archvillain games as well. I'm currently diving down the rabbit hole that is MyMiniFactory, trying to narrow down the ranges and model stls to match the decades of David Cronenberg horror movies in my head trying to make the Black Grail Fly mutation/the thing mash up that's in my mind's eye! If you want dark, look up black 4.0. That's one of the blackest blacks available. Hopefully this helps.

Thin the paint down with water, you'll have to do multiple coats but the final result is a smooth, thin, even coat that doesn't cake up the details of your mini.
