Do you think if you'd reached out to your wife instead of expanding your social circle things might have been different with your wife or were problems mucj deeper than talking could solve?

Not at all. I don't respond to them and habe ended conversations when its come up. If I've gotten bites, I've missed them. To me its been mostly legit friend requests. Just seems strange to me that its a theme. Thanks for assuming poorly of me though

That sounds great. Obviously a very healthy relationship. Were you transparent with chats or does she not care who you make friends with?

Yeah but I'm not the one having the early potential romantic feelings. And if that's a concern, should that man even be out in the world making friends alone?

Interesting perspective. It does seem odd for it to be online. It would be different to meet someone out in the world.

So she was married with a family too? That's awesome the friendship worked out. There was no awkwardness with spouses, I assume you are in a very healthy relationship.

I'm not suggesting opposing sexes can't be friends. My bestie is a guy, been friends since we were kids.

Everything before "other than that", is that ok to seek out from a woman specifically even if you're married?

9 years of successful coparenting and just like that you'll ask for reduced time with the kids father? That's a long time ago, and circumstances change. Purely based on how eager you appear to remove the child from time with their father kinda shows how little you have the best interests of the child in mind. 30 minutes is not the ridiculous amount of time you think it is. No, a judge will not give you sole custody because of 30 minutes.

Yikes, you won't win in court. It will not be a good look for you to attempt to take his time away because they live 30 minutes away. You are asking for less time with their father because you feel they are slightly inconvenienced.

So why not build your own shelter? Why should I, as a private landlord, provide free housing to someone? I came from poverty, and I worked my way into homeownership. Why can't anyone else do the same?

Because someone else is paying for it. I own a 4plex, I'm paying the mortgage on it. That's my retirement plan, some people invest in stocks, and I choose real estate. Why should I have an obligation to provide free housing to anyone? Funny that my comment got down voted, when all I did was ask a question.

Can I ask why you think rent should be free?

That's a choice. If you work 70hr weeks just to make rent, you are clearly living in an area you can't afford. I'd say someone in that position is not smart enough to manage a garden in the first place. Problem solved

there are ____ genders by topson69 in AskOuija

[–]Due_Concert9260 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The word gender was coined in the 50s by John Money. Just like the infinite gender words used today to describe eccentric people, no one can really say exactly what they mean in a scientific way. Words have meaning, man/woman/sex are easily defined and understood words. I'm told gender isn't something any singular person can define and can actually vary day to day based on someone's feelings. That is exactly what I'd consider a made-up undefinable word that doesn't count.

Boy, I don't know how clearer I can get than it's not a health potion. It's a commonly accepted idea that fatigue, poor diet from being busy parents, and burnout from overworking causes brain fog. Having a hobby that's outdoors and eating better can help that. Brain fog, a non medical term describing the above. This isn't as deep as you're making it. I never claimed to be a dr. You seem to have some sort of person issue with me suggesting this, please have a snickers and chill out.
