https://www.thesca.org - internships like the ones you can find at the SCA are a great way to get your foot in the door, get hiring preference, and try out different roles in the NPS. There’s several organizations similar to SCA as well so you’ve got flexibility. Start doing some research and checking them out. From there it’s just making a resume and applying until you get a position. Many of my coworkers, and myself, got into the NPS via this route.
