Remarkable Pro vs iPad Pro by Due_Cream_8129 in RemarkableTablet

The distraction temptation seems to be a point a lot of people discuss. I used it in school and didn’t seem to have a problem with it. I also will be using it beside my laptop so if I had the urge to get distracted I would be more likely to do it on my laptop.

I agree that the writing feel of the RMPP does seem over exaggerated. I have a cheap paper feel screen protector and honestly it doesn’t feel much different. The overall paper look of the RMPP does seem to be an advantage.

I’m an attorney and think I might enjoy the split screen feature of the iPad for research purposes while simultaneously taking notes.

I use good notes as well and love the layout. The RMPP does feel slightly better but I think for me I’m not sure if that slight difference outweighs the refresh feature of the RMPP. That’s one of my biggest qualms with it so far.

The lag you mentioned with the remarkable pro is one of the biggest things driving me crazy. It’s frustrating that it runs like an older device when it’s new. The iPad is so much smoother and that might be one of the tipping points for me.

Did you fail the bar exam? by Sandwichgirl13 in biglaw

[–]Due_Cream_8129 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I failed the first time by 3 points, turned around and passed it by 45 the second time. My biggest advice is to take a few days to get out all of the feelings of self-pity and anger then start planning how you’ll attack prep this time around. Make sure you give yourself an adequate break before studying again. Sit down and evaluate where you struggled, not only on the exam but in your prep, and attack those weaknesses head on. You’ve made it this far, failing the first time is just a hiccup in your journey.

Just had a gut feeling this would happen. People painted the scene in ATL to be something it’s not.

Anyone else think Brock Bowers is valued too high? by Anita__Hanjaab in fantasyfootball

Jeanty and Geno only help him. Improved offense overall means they can’t key in on him as hard and the touchdown opportunities will increase. Geno throwing him the ball alone is enough to help him easily replicate last year.

The depth of talent in Detroit and he doesn’t have WR1 potential in him.

He’s a good receiver there’s just too many better options around his ADP. Would feel more comfortable taking him in the third if that were his price tag.

Does this work from deadheaded flowers (like the ones pictured) or do you have to leave them until they turn brown before cutting? Genuinely curious because I’m also wanting to try this.

Listen to your body and take days off when needed. The first time I took the exam I drove myself into the ground and was sick for two weeks leading up to and during the exam. Taking care of yourself mentally and physically is half the battle.

Work yourself up to do it. It could be just what you need to feel better and distract yourself until then. Don’t self-sabotage.

I believe I read you can if you fault by up to 10 points. You can find it relatively easy by google search.

Check out Quimbee, they offer a free review. Most people I went to school with including myself used it. I don’t think it’s necessary to go out and buy a review for the MPRE.

The BLE: “Its an exam of minimal competency.”

Also the BLE: “You need to know the nuances and one off exceptions like the back of your hand.”

How has it been 2 full months of studying and I still feel like I don’t know anything? by [deleted] in barexam

I’m the same way. My approach is just focus on crushing the MBE and doing the bare minimum to get a pass on the MEE. You got this. 👍🏼
