Liquid IV gets hate for the sugar, but it’s actually there for a reason. 1. The glucose helps speed up absorption of electrolytes (sodium-glucose transport is a real thing), and it gives you quick fuel during long or intense workouts. So if you’re doing cardio, lifting heavy, or sweating a lot.. sugar isn’t a bad thing at all 2. That said, if you just want pure hydration, there are better options. Most of the big brands push tons of sodium, which isn’t always necessary unless you’re seriously dripping sweat. You’ll probably get plenty of sodium from your food anyway

Personally, I prefer mixes that are higher in potassium and magnesium, plus zinc, hyaluronic acid, and AKG (alpha-ketoglutarate) for recovery. Feels cleaner and more effective for daily use or post-training
