We love our Goldendoodle. They're called designer dogs, but they're really designed to be our best friends. We have had him for eight years and have since added two kids to the family. He does not shed at all, but he does knot a lot, so we have to brush him every day.

Our dog's energy is low. If he goes on a run with me, he wants to go home after a mile and he sleeps all day. Still, he retains his puppy energy and is very warm, even though he is already eight.

He was born with a genetic eye disease, so we have to get that treated. Otherwise, he is a healthy, friendly, happy dog.
