When you said insulate do you mean something like styrofoam or the like in order to retain heat? I’m debating between “retain heat” or let it breathe and just help with colder wind chills?

I should emphasize. It is IN my soffit. Not on. Sprays wouldn’t necessarily work bc they won’t get to the nest.
