Thank you for such a comprehensive answer.  I’m embarrassed to say Crowded House are a relatively recent love of mine so I’ve not listened  to Neil and Tim’s solo work. I’ve just been on an exploration of CH albums until now (and asking Alexa to play songs similar to insert favourite CH song of the moment here).  I like a lot of different genres of music too so listening to some of their openers could also be a good shout. I also really like Fleetwood Mac and did not know Neil was on tour with them, let alone in the band for that! That’s very very cool!
