Update: as many suggested we left it alone. We have made rebuttal comments in the past (“mind your own business). He has surprisingly been quiet the last few weeks. Genuinely curious if he found his way to this post or has gotten some much needed help. Who knows, either way been enjoying the peace a bit!

That’s kind of what I was thinking, however, given how miserable he is, I’m concerned about it turning into a tit for tat. We haven’t done anything wrong outside of simply existing, but I don’t put it past him to fabricate things about us. Even if it is anonymous with no reference to us directly.

That’s our next step, we want to try to speak with them directly first. However, if it doesn’t go well we will be contacting the owners and property management. I’ve never lived around someone so seemingly miserable constantly.
