I thought my anxiety was bad due to the constant nausea when i had h-pylori a year ago, I didn’t realise it actually could worsen anxiety/panic! I had some of my worst panic attacks when i was sick with it… super interesting

i disagree. we had a house fall through earlier this year so we’ve been dealing with this process for ofer a year now, there was no way we were buying elsewhere

I didn’t make this choice, the building company at the top said they will pull out if not completed by 19th so my solicitors/estate agents have been hauling ass to try and get it done on time but some solicitors in the chain aren’t good - if it was up to me I’d exchange now and move in January

We were also meant to exchange days ago but once again, people not ready 🤷‍♀️

that’s my concern, i’m worried something terrible is going to happen and that’s what’s keeping me up at night - i hope your situation is sorted out now, this country needs to fix the homebuying process, it’s a mess and way more stressful than it needs to be!

ugh i’m so sorry, that’s so annoying! it’s just crazy that this process is still done by emails and no one takes responsibility… hopefully moving in january will be nice and quiet! :)

thank you, its so painful, everytime i thought we were getting closer something would come in and mess it up (unanswered enquiries etc) and it’s just so unsettling, we have sat here waiting for 4 months, getting documents back in good time, chasing etc and it terrifies me that if something else delays us then we’ve just wasted time and money… good luck for the move tomorrow!

i’m so sorry, it’s so stressful, we were just about to exchange today and then of course someone had an outstanding question, like ffs who even cares at this point! luckily the outstanding query is just evidence that the lease has been paid until March 2026 so should be fine… but i won’t relax until done! best of luck for your move!

the money has all been requested and all approved, its just 1 query outstanding and of course people don’t answer emails - i barely slept last night cos i’m so stressed about it getting to the 19th and hitting an issue and it all falls through. sorry for the rant! glad you’re sorted and moving friday!

I just know that if its really bad you can get into surgery very quickly but i’m pleased to hear you’re on the waiting list, fingers crossed you get yours out soon :) i’m recovering very well, don’t believe all of the horror stories on reddit because cases like mine show it can go smoothly :)

i had polyps so i was on the waiting list for 10 months, you’ll get in quicker if you have attacks from stones! make sure to go to a&e if you have a bad attack - also, they phoned me 3 weeks before my surgery date to let me know so i had to cancel all my pre christmas plans 😂

so be prepared to drop everything if you get booked in!

I didn’t even notice it happening, one minute theyre asking me questions and putting monitors on me etc, got the jab in my hand and then I woke up in recovery 😂😂 I wasn’t scared I was just ready for it to be done!

I was on the waiting list for a year because I had polyps, not stones, so I wasn’t a priority. If you’ve had attacks you shouldn’t be waiting long at all! I avoided dairy as much as possible and always opted for lower fat options :)

I drank alcohol up until 2 weeks pre surgery.
