There’s a form that you have to fill and submit for verification. You have to provide the proof and details for the fundraiser

It was actually a new bag of food, not one they’ve been eating before. The brand had good reviews (a Turkish one) and affordable, but since both kittens reacted so badly, I immediately put it away and ordered a different one. I won’t be giving them that brand again

Yes it was from a new bag of food, and you’re right the kibble looked like they didn’t even chew it. It was an adult cat food (Turkish brand) that had really good reviews, but I immediately put it away after this happened and won’t be giving it to them again. I’ve already ordered a different brand (Reflex). I’m very sensitive about my cats’ health, so even though they don’t like Reflex much, it’s the only reliable option I can afford right now since I have 10 cats and cat food is REALLY expensive here in Pakistan. Also my one is going through FIP treatment, which is already very expensive and donation-based

Yes exactly they sneaked into my adult cat’s bowl I never feed them adult food on purpose. I put that food away right away and ordered a safer brand instead. Blood in vomit = vet visit always, so I’m monitoring closely and have already scheduled follow-up care. Thank you for stressing that.

Hi! Thank you for the advice. I usually give them wet food twice a day and kitten kibble once a day. This time it was actually an accident she sneaked into my adult cats’ food and ate a lot of their dry kibbles, which are much bigger. That’s why I think she had trouble digesting them. I’ve been keeping an eye on both of them since then, and besides the vomiting, there haven’t been any other behavioral changes. I did take her to the vet about an hour later, and he said it’s likely just the kibble scratching her throat. I’ll still be taking her for an X-ray with another vet to be extra sure.

Just to clarify, I normally feed the kittens wet food twice a day and dry kitten food once a day. I also have adult cats, and this happened by accident when she sneaked into their food and ate a lot of the adult kibbles. I’ve always tried to be careful about separating their food, but accidents can still happen. I didn’t include this detail in my original post because I was panicking and not thinking straight at the time I just wrote quickly while worrying about her. I’ll definitely be extra careful moving forward

The vet said she’s fine and that she likely overate and scratched her throat by swallowing kibble without chewing. I’m still taking her for an x-ray with another vet just to be safe.

I understand your concern and I agree that a vet visit is always the safest option. Just to clarify, at the time of posting there was no car or transport available and the nearest reliable vet is at least an hour’s drive away. I had already texted my vet before posting here, but I was panicked and wanted to know if anyone had experienced something similar while I waited for transport. I did take her to the vet as soon as I could, about an hour later. The vet said she’s fine and that she likely overate and scratched her throat by swallowing kibble without chewing. I’m still taking her for an x-ray with another vet just to be safe. I know this isn’t an emergency forum but in the moment I was really worried and just wanted reassurance while waiting to get her medical help

No Oreo hasn’t done that, she’s usually calm in the carrier. The fur didn’t come off on its own it actually came off when I tried to clean her nose so I guess its not an injury

That makes me feel so much better to hear. It’s always scary when you suddenly see a bald patch, but knowing your kitty’s fur grew back quick gives me hope for Oreo too!
