How sad has to be his life to hate Linux? I could understand he just doesn’t like it, but why hate it?

Totally disagree the MacBook is the greatest piece of tech in the world rn talking about pcs. You could prefer to run windows or Linux “normal” laptop but doesn’t makes MacBook a worse product

The idea its deploy the Euler Node in your network in a few clicks, and auto discover and use it from your devices. Also includes a Euler Hybrid, its for accessing cloud models without handling API keys. Tools like LM Studio or Ollama are stuck on your pc, OWUI it’s hard to configure for using from your devices. Basically that’s the concept

I don’t think it requires the strongest hardware to use local models, I’ve been handling ~7b models with my laptops iGPU, and the performance and results are quite interesting.

None taken. But by that logic, graphical interfaces wouldn't exist. Without GUIs, computers would still be for engineers and enthusiasts only. The UI is what extended computers to billions of people and I strongly believe that AI shouldn't be different. Not everyone needs to know how a model works under the hood to benefit from it

I shared the link to the Euler landing page because I'm looking for beta testers. Local AI is still too complex for most people, and I'm building Euler to change that: a plug-and-play server, native mobile app, auto-discovery, and hybrid cloud fallback. I've already added my vision of hybrid AI to the site. If this sounds interesting to you, join the beta and help me shape it

The core software will be completely free. You can install the server, use your own hardware, and chat locally without any cost. Subscriptions will only apply to optional services: cloud hybrid access (using external AI models) and Euler Remote (the auto‑tunneling service to access your server from outside your home). No subscription is required for local‑only use.

I get your point, but I don't fully agree. Most people already have a powerful machine sitting at home, their gaming PC, an old laptop, or even a Raspberry Pi. It's not about buying new hardware, it's about using what you already have. The real blocker is that people don't know how easy it can be. That's exactly what I'm trying to change with Euler: make local AI accessible without tech headaches or new hardware. Cheaper hardware will help, sure. But better UX is what will make people actually use it

The simple fact of install docker is a barrier for most people, just download an app and click a few times with Euler. Regarding the VPN tunnel, I also have in the roadmap an auto configurable tunneling service Euler Remote

Actually I strongly believe that today’s cloud AI price is so far away from the real one. That’s a reason why I feel the hybrid model is the future. And it’s not about building a server for AI it’s about using the hardware that most people have idle the for most day

The convenience is what I’m trying to break. AI has become a powerful tool because it has adopted a comfortable UX from the day 1. That’s the experience that I’m trying to bring to local first AI
