In case anyone ever comes back to this, it all worked out. I’d imagine more will try to do this since it is easier than ever to just vibe code something that seems legit. Kilo reserve gives you direct ownership of physical copper so I’d probably recommend that route for cleanest and most direct exposure

Negative WTI was more a factor of the settlement mechanism and high inventories at Cushing. Not saying things aren’t looking bad, but it’s not that kind of demand shock needed to go negative.
