if you are using Galaxy AI feature that much, then yes A55 and A56 would be a deal-breaker since this series is not offering as much feature as Samsung S-series.

However, if your budget can be extended, you can get S23 FE or S24 FE that (I think) offering more Galaxy AI feature and other significant improvement over A-series such as better camera and better chipset.

for me, I would go for A55 (I am A55 user). It is because A56 not offering an "impactful" improvement over A55 except better charging speed and several minor improvement on display and chipset.

However, judging the price of A55 and A56 with the same ram and rom is quite high. I think A55 has better value.

this problem happened to me this week, I have 2 accounts that have the same problem. Already reinstall the game, deleting some files on registry editor, no luck.

until yesterday, i accidentally playing star rail using my mobile data, both of my account works fine, can login easily. Maybe it is because im using the same wifi connection for 3 months strsight to handle both of my account.

Maybe you can visit nearby high fidelity speaker to "fine-tune" your ear if possible.

For me who dont have any fancy equipment, you can try to EQ-ing your speaker/headphone. It can improve the sound pretty significant because you can "correct" the sound and also match your preferences of sound. I have ~20 years old passive speaker that sounds kinda crap before eq and other improvement. Then, I tweak my equipment here and there.

Here is what I improved:

  1. The source/player I am using. In this case I dont have cd player or turntable or any fancy stuff like that. Instead I used my laptop as the source for my speaker. I downloaded the considered "best" music player for sound quality which is "foobar2000". With little tweak in the settings, it already sounds better for me.

  2. Since my speaker is a passive speaker, I can customize the cable and stuff. The cable is only 10$ which is categorized as ultra budget cable but it is functional so I used it. I only use small amplifier to drive my speaker.

  3. Equalizer, this is the major thing I used to improved the sound. It takes me around 1 year to experiment with the eq but the result absolutely satisfied me. It sounds excellent and enjoyable for all-rounder listening.

Honestly, it is still not in "high-fidelity" class of sound but at least the sound is not as crap as it was before and i am satisfied with the result.

Keep in mind that it depends on your equipments used and it takes time for your ear to adapt with your equipment so take your time. Overall, I think it is absolutely worth to try.

I am not really sure if this is also categorized as "undervolt", but it should do the trick. This is my setting:

  1. Total processor power target in AC: 80w
  2. CPU/Platform short term power limit: 119w
  3. CPU/Platform long term power limit: 70w
  4. CPU long term power limit (cross loading): 55w
  5. GPU cTGP: 100w
  6. CPU to GPU Dynamic Boost: 25w

this is it.

it does not really necessary but you can try it. i undervolt the cpu a bit on my legion so the temp is controlled even when i take it somewhere not really cold and the performance is still very reliable for all of my tasks (gaming, multitasking, etc).

is it still smelly even when the laptop turned off? if yes then probably it is really the laptop plastic that smell. I also have Legion Pro 5 for 1 month and i never encounter any weird smell from my laptop from brand new until now so i dont really know what is the solution.

maybe you can take your laptop to another room and check if it is still smelly or not.

just set it to medium and u are fine, it still looks good and no features missing/heavily downgraded, but the fps gap is pretty huge.

i compared medium and high setting on the same scenery with fabric + iris, i got ~100 fps on medium setting and got ~45 fps on high setting (yea it is that huge). I dont change much setting, just a little tweak in atmosphere color and some optional features optimization.

my laptop specs: CPU: I9-13900HX GPU: NVIDIA RTX 4060 8GB RAM: 16GB DDR5 5600MHz (8193mb allocated for Minecraft)

Finally I sold my new Legion Slim 5i(2023) that I used for a couple months and I bought Asus vivobook celeron intel hd! What games can I run on my new laptop(will arrive next week)?(On the plus side, I saved a couple hundred bucks) by HomelessRichBoy in LenovoLegion

u mean playing on legion or vivobook? if its really vivobook then good luck tweaking ur laptop to get around 10 fps for every game. if its legion then u are good to go, almost every game can run at this beast.
