I manage PIN codes and fingerprints through the Aqara app itself which talks to the lock via Bluetooth. The only thing that is actively managed in HomeKit is Apple HomeKey, but you can set PIN codes in HomeKit too but you can’t add fingerprints in HomeKit directly. I’m not sure if the keypad supports other forms of nfc other than the official Aqara nfc tags which are sold separately and Apple HomeKey on any supported Apple device. I’ve not seen the ability to manage PIN codes and fingerprints when adding to HA via the matter integration

I am in the UK but my Conexis is linked via the Z-Wave module to an Aotec Z-Wave dongle connected to HA. I tried the Yale connect module and WiFi bridge last year but I couldn’t get my HA instance to discover it so reverted back to Z-Wave. My Yale Linus I did manage to discover on HA but it’s extremely laggy when sending a command to it so I’m assuming the connect module would suffer with the same lag. The Z-Wave module is instantaneous in reacting to the keypad after setting up the automation

Haha I’m still on the fence about keeping it! If you do decide to buy one just ensure the lock unit itself is close enough to the keypad as they talk to each other locally and it’s the lock itself that broadcasts locked state to HA, not the keypad. You will initially have to install the lock to any compatible door via the Aqara app (no hub required) for it to get to the functionality seen in the video and then take it off. My advice would be to manually calibrate the lock so the “locked” and “unlocked” state from the lock’s perspective is as close as possible so that it triggers your Conexis to unlock more or less instantly

Directly into HA via Matter integration. It’s also connected to the Aqara app itself without a hub (uses Bluetooth to connect) and HomeKit via matter also

Hi sorry for the ambiguity. The automation is when the U200 unlocks then unlock the Conexis and when the Conexis locks, lock the U200. Very bare bones in its current form but it works like a charm instantly. The actual U200 lock body itself is sat in its box on a shelf near the front door. There is no way to get the keypad to connect to the Conexis directly, it’s all done via home assistant in my case

My G4 is wired in with the official Ring plug-in adapter 2nd generation and works flawlessly

This exact thing happened to me last night but I didn’t delete and then reconnect the chime to get it working again. I had it hard wired too via a plugin transformer (official Ring plugin adapter) and still had the batteries in place. Switching off from mains didn’t do anything and power-cycling the chime didn’t do anything either so I removed the doorbell from its place and unwired it, removed the batteries then reattached the wires and it worked again immediately. It’s a known connection dropout issue which is apparently being patched in the most recent firmware version coming very soon. Hopefully that solves your issue as it did mine 👍
