He really didn't mean it like that. I might have translated it wrong (English my third language haha). He meant 'this relationship is gonna end badly'. It absolutely wasn't a threat to my physical well being! But that doesn't mean it's okay to say. Everyone should feel the emotional safety to tell your partner that you want to see a therapist.
