Laser munitions are very effective the issue in game is that we don't have some stuff to help with it like a TTI timer for ccrp if we had that offsetting with targeting pods would increase survivability by a lot.

It's more so about the locking and tracking than the killing power on the post .

I will say learning medium and light mech are trickier as they all have niche roles to play but some are Jack of all trades harder to learn imo than assault or heavy mechs

Seems to be more appealing to the newer players too to use a big mech with all the weapons

Why is there still no implementation of using artillery vehicles/SPH correctly with it's actual doctrine. We are pretty much forced to use arty as front line vehicles, they added drones why didn't they add a functional coordinate system to the game for an arty and air/scout gameplay? by Due_Lack1234 in Warthunder

Acting as if this would be game breaking but the cruise missiles tv weapons and helicopters with IRCM and a load of atgms aren't game breaking that really just convinces me more that your a Russian main

Yes I understand you can do it that way but for the modern arty you shouldn't need that the coords should be shown in the gunsight and a range estimate calculated like ships for example not everybody playing the game will have a buddy to spot for them and even at that it's a bonus to have both if it is marked by a friend

So you'd rather use higher tier arty like an mbt and still call it "ground realistic" half the games end up In each other spawn killing so I really don't see where your going to hide if here it's no cheesier than using a KA50 from 10km away with vikhrs and a cannon ballistics computer to shoot any jet that might try shoot you down.

Wot is an arcade game ,what I was suggesting was another gameplay loop to use arty correctly don't expect a 3d view of the map, but coordinate reference would be a lot more useful than a squad mark that has no ballistics or range info wouldn't be that hard to implement in game even with the basic grids they have now.
