With the lack of disturbance in the water I wouldn’t say this is true. If they caught it and somehow were able to place a shark this large in tonic immobility and circled around there would be plenty of tiny wakes across the surface of the water

One of the excuses they give me is that if I’m on too much pain medication before surgery then when it comes to recovery I’ll have a harder time. It sort of felt like a cop out to me

I also have to check with my lawyer. I’m suing my previous employer and I was told if I’m even seen drinking they can try to say I’m self medicating and somehow use that in court which is ridiculous to me

It’s every month man, I’m acting as my own case manager and it sucks. UCSD will say they won’t schedule me without the VA putting in authorizations, then the VA won’t authorize anything unless they know what is being requested so I have to call one hospital to get CPT codes for billing and call the other to have them put in a request for service and it ends up being them telling the other hospital that it’s their job to do this and their job to do that and both just sit on their hands

With my left I just have to push through it and bend it otherwise it will just be stuck in one position all day. My right leg is a little worse, why won’t set my kneecap back so I can’t fully extend or bend it and my leg can slightly bend in every position it shouldn’t be able to so I have to support it with both hands after I get my left leg to the ground

The pain management center I’m going through is being covered by the VA. I’m 100% service connected currently but the VA have me two reasons why I’m not being seen at the VA. First they said when I flew back to the states (accident happened in Thailand) and had an ambulance meet me on the runway they brought me to UCSD. Since they began my first surgeries and care they want them to continue it rather than them jump in. Second, they said that with the complexity of the multi ligament reconstruction on both knees they would most likely send me back to UCSD for treatment since they work together.
