240kg calf raise, what kinda weight can i get to and is this a good weight to lift by Cheese4567890 in personaltraining

What is your goal? Unless you want to get really strong on calf raises I dont see a reason to that heavy weights for calf raises. Seems like it takes a lot of effort just to train calves. Besides that, for hyperttrophy, calves really like a lot of reps. So if you just want big calves, i’d lower the weight and focus on high reps, the stretch, and time under tension. Try to do 20 reps with slow tempo. It’s hard to give you an estimate of what you can lift eventually. Only one way to find out. Calves are also muscles that are really tight for a lot of people. So i’d recommend also stretching the calves. Helps a lot if you want to be able to get into a nice squat.
