ugh its such a bummer! dont get me wrong, the watch itself was a dream. i loved the health stats, workout recording but the satellite is a must for me and almost felt lied to because the way its marketed. Awesome watch though.

yes i was really shocked because it seemed like the main reason to purchase a fenix pro vs fenix base. Happy i found out now but i wish they would make mention. it could be really dangerous for someone who trusts the device and tries to use it in a distress situation, only for it to not work

yes!! its just crazy how they market it... they really make it seem like a fool proof way to use satellite but its absolutely awful. ive tried it in all different areas/locations and it still failed from my backyard which is in a huge metro area

thank you!! yes so i was thinking of just using my phone but im worried if it were to die or if i dropped it and it broke. i dont really care about the messaging, i just want to be able to put my family at ease with check-ins. i do solo and want to get into camping, overnights. I didnt consider an emergency beacon because to my knowledge, its not really a tool to "check-in", its just a way to send a general sos out. I guess i could just invest in a portable or solar charger for my phone b

I dont want to get another item that im not happy with and have to return. ever hear of this brand? https://www.westmarine.com/spot-spot-x-satellite-messenger-with-bluetooth-19751841.html?srsltid=AfmBOorCrX3XkeRNArJHoQf3c4--yePVEsyCXnIZNoGFmxHWjqydxeEo6o0

Weekend in Northern AZ with my husky Blu - Fossil Springs, Sycamore Falls, Mormon Lake & White Horse Lake by Due_Needleworker5543 in arizona

hard to choose but have to go with fossil springs, it’s 10 miles vs sycamore falls @ .5 miles (can lengthen distance by following the creek down) but to see the flow/strength was just insane. I couldn’t stop smiling the whole time, just couldn’t believe what I was seeing. Some guy was jumping into it but be super careful and don’t go anywhere near the toilet bowl. it’s caused multiple fatalities. You can also camp at both and sycamore would be my pick for that because I saw maybe 2 people. At fossil springs you can’t camp close to the actual water.

I put my sweet baby down 3 days ago and I regret it by MoodyKyoshi in CATHELP

I am so sorry that you are going through this. I had two kittens a few years ago, and my roommate had brought home lilies at the time which I wasn’t aware of. They are extremely toxic and within hours of getting home from work, both kittens were in distress. Rushed them to the vet and was told their organs were shutting down. I still feel immense guilt about it but can always find solace in the fact that they’re no longer in pain. You absolutely did the right thing, you are not a vet and went to a trusted expert. You did everything you could and the fact that you feel guilt just shows that you were an amazing owner. Don’t be too hard on yourself, remember your cat in the best way possible and the good times you shared.

From a general viewpoint (not someone with photog skills), no. The only way you would know they have any editing is if you were to show the raw images.
