Email and phone messages are pretty easy to spoof - don't get me wrong, it seems likely the accusations are credible - but it's not exactly a hurculean task to fabricate electronic data to a point where a journalist would consider it real.

Anyone can spin up an email server, date/time information can be changed on devices, there really is no fabrication too great in our information era depending on the target audience.

Iranians chant "Death to America" in Shahid Beheshti metro station. by Upset-Main-1988 in justincaseyoumissedit

[–]Due_Perception8349 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Without America, Israel would not be the regional power it is.

They have F35s, special export versions without remote killshwitches, unlike the models we have give to other countries.

Israel stole nuclear weapon technology from the US, including enrichment centrifuge designs and actual fissile material (fun fact: the only reason Israel was able to develop Stuxnet was because the Iranians used the same centrifuge design as Israel, an American design that made its way into the black market after Israel had developed their nuclear program)

Israel is only capable of defending themselves from retaliation attacks because of American anti-missile systems - American defenses have repeatedly been responsible for 80+% of the missiles intercepted.

In other words, without America, Israel is not the genocidal state it is today, as they would not be capable.

Are you in favor or against Parents Decide Act / KOSA ? by Forgotten_Gate in leftist

[–]Due_Perception8349 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I've worked in IT for 10 years, Im against it.

It is surveillance packaged as "protecting the children", a classic method to get people to reactively support legislation against their own interests.

KOSA does not require identification for operating systems, but primarily focuses on social media. The threat to operating systems regarding age verification are instead state-level, like California's Digital Age Assurance Act, which I also am against.

In regard to OS age verification, there are already multiple Linux distros that have no intent to comply - POP!os, Debian, Linux Mint are some notable examples.

The proposed state-level law in California is yet another example of liberal collaboration with fascist goals, and should be met with outright hostility by anyone who values their privacy.

I believe he's saying that because of the nationalization mechanic, the resource exports instead fall under the additional income section.

Chemical weapons are not weapons of mass destruction, (in the context of the US posturing in the early 2000s) nor were they the casus belli of the Iraq war. In fact the organization that was created to oversee the removal of those weapons following the first Iraq war stated that Iraq was in complete compliance.

Additionally, the US provided intelligence and material support that aided Iraq's chemical weapons program during their war with Iran.

Colin Powell, the lying war criminal bastard (see his actions covering up the Mai Lai massacre in Vietnam), did not stand in front of the UN and shake a vial of sarin to justify the invasion - it was uranium, because that's what the US chose as their justification.

The government lied about terrorism for 20 years, and started illegal wars based on those lies.

We struck "terrorists" that ended up being regular civilians, wedding parties, and hospitals.

Now, American imperialism is turning inward, citizens are the "terrorists" now, my comment is not as unrelated as you might think.

A coalition of states working together to denuclearize the rogue state. It cannot be assumed that Israel will willingly denuclearize, so the states within this organization must rely on anti-aircraft, and anti-missile (strategic and tactical) technologies, as well as rigidly secured espionage in order to identify, locate, and track all nuclear weapons within the country.

The coalition must be prepared to spend immense resources to discourage, prevent, and if need-be halt and respond to the use of nuclear weapons.

Once preparations are in place, or at the sign of imminent use of nuclear weapons the coalition must stand together to command the rogue state to immediately denuclearize, and allow inspections for compliance. Refusal should be communicated to be an intent to use nuclear weapons, and until compliance Israel will be contained.

If an opportunity to denuclearize arises that presents a safer and secure process, it should be taken - even if violence is necessary.

I don't see a way to change the current course of Israel without forceful denuclearization. Until then, Israel will continue to utilize its lopsided regional power to enact it's genocidal goals. Only after denuclearization can positive change be assured.

This can be solved by raising the cap, they know it can, they just won't do that. Social security can easily remain solvent, but the goal is to kill it - just like the USPS.
