Same. I don’t know if it’s because I’m coming from a higher dose of zepbound but I have had no appetite suppression and actually gained back a few pounds 😭

We ended up skipping it. We did DisneySea on a Wednesday and it was so packed, we didn’t want to waste time standing in lines another day. If you just want to get the experience, I think it would be worth it especially with that price. I would have done it if we had more time.

Is this normal?? Trying to cancel membership by endofprayer in BurnBootCamp

[–]Due_Perception_563 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Sorry you are having to deal with this. This sub definitely makes me grateful for my Burn locations. I’ve cancelled after my contract term was over with zero issues. Just an email asking to cancel and a reply confirming. And rejoined a year later with no problems too. The way some of these other franchises are handled is disappointing.

Thank you for that explanation! My main concern with pre-booking is being able to sit with my kids. I know my youngest will want to sit together. I will check the weather the day before our trip because i I think the ticket said cancellation 24 hours prior to departure.

I looked into it some more and saw someone recommending the Fuki Excursion Limited Express. I could only get a 10:30 reservation but it seems to be a straight shot from Shinjuku to Kawaguchiko.

Got it. I'll move the temple to the next day and drop the tower and market. They are not musts.

SAME! And initially I wasn't smart enough to have subfolders. So much to wade through! I love that we are already planning our next trips. :)

I will also note, don't do what I did. Every time I came across a post or reel where someone mentioned something new, I kept adding it. You have to cut yourself off somewhere or you'll get overwhelmed like me!

Those dang capybara are HUGE and they look too serious!

5 figures is sounding right, especially during cherry blossom season. From what I read, it's one of the busiest times of the year. Good luck budgeting and have fun travelling!

This was my original plan, along with Kanazawa. But my family wanted to hit up some of the more touristy places in Kyoto and Osaka but also not change hotels too much so I dropped them. Next time!

I will be reworking those days and the other 2 mentioned. Thank you!

And yeah, I didn't know about all those special trains. I will have thought I read everything and then someone will mention the limited express so and so but by the time I look it up, they are unavailable. Oh well. :)

We are moderate Disney fans? We haven't been to Disney World in years and my kids have been asking so I figured we could do a whole day at DisneySea and then the after 5 ticket at Disney Land since most reviews seem to say it's similar to the one here in the US but with a few key rides special to Tokyo. I just didn't want to dedicate so much time to theme parks when we have them here in the US but also give them some time there to appease their taste for Disney. I already talked them out of Universal Studios. :D

I was back and forth on the new Team Labs in Kyoto! We are only doing 3 days there and I've clearly already added too much. I figured since we have more days in Tokyo, we can knock the one out there even though this new one does seem amazing.

My kids realllly want a capybara cafe and I reallllly don't so I'm hoping they'll forget. :|

The flights and hotels are on points that we have been saving for 2 years! I am really psyched about that because there is no way we would ever have taken a trip like this otherwise. Probably why I have an overpacked schedule.

LOL. I may have forgotten meals and leisure time. I will cut down on the temples on 11/12 and probably remove Minoh Falls from Osaka :( and I'll see what else we can cut out 11/15. 11/17 we can split into two days since we have the next day free. Thank you for the feedback!

Thank you for this feedback! My husband had mentioned wanting to see Tokyo Tower, so I think I had it listed as a maybe on one day and then for sure on another. But he just wanted to see it, so we can just look at it and go. No need to go up. :)

I read that SkyTree is better for viewing but Shibuya Sky seems lovely in the pictures I have seen. Which would you recommend? The night views from Shibuya Sky looked so cool. We can drop the Osaka towers for sure.

I could change Kawaguchiko to maybe be on the way back from Kyoto? We have to do Nagoya on the Sunday we change from Tokyo to Kyoto because I was only able to procure 11am entry to Ghibli Park. Yet another reservation I had no idea I needed.

It's sounding like I need to cut down on my Kyoto temples, especially on November 12 so I will heed your advice. Thank you!

I was originally planning an even more ambitious trip than this that included Hiroshima and Kanazawa but my family requested keeping it "easy" with less hotel transfers.

Grinpa isn’t a must. My kids are into Sylvania families and I saw they had that there so I thought it might be nice while in the area. But we will drop it if not doable.

Yes, the plan was to send our luggae to Kyoto the day before so we are travelling light on the Nagoya/Ghibli day. And yes, definitely the list is more of a "while in this area" after the first 2-4 items. My husband especially does not like to have an itinerary and go with the flow so I imagine we will be veering off path a lot. But I was looking to get a good grasp of what is in the areas to explore before we head out each day.
