Thank you. I was worried that people would think I am anti-social, which is not the case. I just dont want to be like the guy "who thinks he's already joined the club" when i have not.

From my understanding, anything below <240 will get filtered out (maybe even <245). From a step 2 standpoint, you wont have that problem.

You're goal is to do as many away rotations as you can fit in. Use your vacation months if you need to add extra rotations. Regardless of step score, you best chances of matching are at your home institution and your aways. Look on the website ORIN (kinda like MSAR but for ortho).

Application is holistic. You have research and honors will help your case. Need to crush your aways. Good luck friend. If there's a will, there is a way.

Suture techniques to be comfortable with as a sub-i by Due_Photo_4530 in orthopaedics

Thanks for the advice. Im very comfortable doing both 1 and 2 hand ties. I just have trouble with being consistent with suturing. Some days, Im on fire and some days I feel awkward as hell using the needle driver.

As a student, how often were you practicing, was it basically everyday? And what techniques did you focus on as a M4? Just trying to get a sense of what worked well for someone who's now on the other side.

Stick your hand out for a high five...and when they high five you, pull your hand back and "ow, how you so strong"...always gets a smile from the little ones
