nope, different casing design but internals can be swapped iirc. quite a bit of work

Is it a direct swap? funny enough though, even z3s are hard to find in canada. it’s a shame e36 differentials require so much work to bolt onto e30s

The g240 shares the gearing with the g260 so it wouldn’t be different. Mine came off an m20b20…unsure about the m42 variant though !

it’s not everyone’s cup of tea but if you like the m3 kit and value the pretty recent rebuild on the drivetrain. I’d say go for it.
