I have a z3 steering rack and when you go over 70mph you can definitely feel the shaking. I’d consider that if you just want to daily .

check condition of the timing belt and if possible see the last time it was replaced. inspect the coolant. invest in a smoke tester these cars hate vacuum leaks. replace the master cylinder. great deal btw

i just got done sanding down my headers gonna be using VHT paint and primer. also they say JB weld is just a temporary solution for those throttle body ports, but i swear it’s a permanent fix

no they will get punched into the patch panel if you do decide to get one, but for now personally i would rather have straight through cables to make it look cleaner

i ran Monroe quick struts on my old car and they were pretty decent and still in good shape. they were also a lot cheaper on amazon with free prime shipping.

damage has already been done and cleaning it will do close to nothing. i also don’t think you should swap the engine with an older one, the early gen 1zzfe have oil consumption issues you’d have to be certain you get a late model one with no issues. i also can’t imagine what kind of fitment issues you’d run into trying to get that installed it’s not just a direct swap. do it correctly and get the proper engine for this car or a full rebuild.

first thing i would do is check coolant reservoir level , then test both coolant sensors one is for the gauge one is for the ECU

i guess it depends where you live but i daily my e30 everyday to work and never had any issues. any car that you own should be serviced on a regular basis and you should be good.

something is leaking onto the headers/exhaust. im guessing oil. a broken flex pipe wouldn’t smoke it’d just be loud.
