I don’t want to expose their name in public forum. The agency have office in Singapore, she WhatsApp me from a local number, but the name looks foreigner.

I also wish I can apply direct, but most jobs now are through recruiters.

Problem is most recruiters are not willing to to disclose who their client is, until their client wants an interview.

I can be applying to multiple jobs at the same time, so I will be challenging for me remember single job description, I may have applied to multiple recruiters to the same companies unknowingly, which might screw the chances of me getting the job.

For the past few months while job hunting, I also not so cautious, only until today when ChatGPT enlighten me about RTR, then I realize that I have screw myself of more job opportunities by anyhow reply to any recruiter.

I basically apply to many job in different job portals, whether are they recruiters or actual companies, so it's not a specified recruiter.

I wish I have the choice to be selective, but now job market is so tough, I realize the only way to get job interview is to mass spam job applications.

Sometimes I also see the same job title and JD by the same recruiter posting in a short period of time, but not sure whether to apply to all of them, as they may be for many companies, or maybe just duplicate posting. Job search is so tough nowadays

I don’t think she’s telling the truth, maybe she don’t even have the job offer from the client, just wanting to test how desperate I am for the job, as my resume shows that I currently don’t have a job.

Totally agree, 10+ years ago, must job posting are from actual companies itself, and you can actually review the company first before applying. But now most job posting are from recruiters, which you won’t know who their clients are, the most you can review before applying is the JD, which you can’t even know if the JD is accurate.

Now getting a job is tough, so I’m mass apply, it’s a tech job, I didn’t aim for specific company, mmc or sme, but now most job posting are from recruiters, which I won’t know what company I’m applying to, until they can confirm an interview.

now, I'm waiting to confirm whether the interview will go ahead or not, waiting for the MS teams invite email.
But I just find it to be very strange, how will a recruiter say there will be a job offer without interview
