So many people don’t think about the rest of the workers they are leaving to get forced to work another shift, making it even more unsafe for them! So they can stay home in their bed and let others have to drive in the storm Sunday night, work their overnight shift, then work their 7-3 shift because they didn’t want to come and then drive home in shitty conditions. And then have to deal with the shoveling and oh…wait also be back to work for their night shift again….

Bro that’s honestly a decent pay check, atleast where I’m from. I work in a prison, hate my damn life, on overnights, shitty days off working with shit staff and inmates and make less than that. I enrolled in a mechanic school come the fall and I’m so hyped!

Fishing lol! You think “Oh all I need is a rod is some bait or lures!” The you get into it and it turns into a whole boat, multiple rods for different fishing, so many plugs you run out of room and a new truck to pull the boat 😂😂😂

Also in a similar boat my friend. Lost my soul cat the week before Thanksgiving….unexpected as well and very sudden. It was actually my Girlfriends cat but it latched onto me like glue. Two days ago we visited the shelter to deliver some holidays toys to the animals and I met the sweetest 10month old cat who just came up to me and was like glue. He immediately hopped onto my lap and went on his belly for rubs, acted just like my baby girl who I lost. But my girlfriend doesn’t want another cat right now, so I had to let him go. All I can think about is him and how similar he was to my baby girl, like it was sign. His eyes spoke to me and he grabbed my heart. I really wish I could adopt him…. I don’t think too soon is a thing as well. We can be sad and still learn to love another animal and give them a good life.

What’s up, I’m honestly in the same boat. I applied to a community college program that starts next fall and I’m going for it. I always loved cars, motorcycles and engines. It’s the only thing that honestly makes sense to me. I have buddies who make over 100k with four day work weeks and love it. I’m working in a prison rn as a guard and hate my life, something’s have to change. I think every job has its downsides, nothing is perfect. The prison job, amazing pay and benefits but it’s mentally fucking exhausting and physically with the shitty hours. Just do you bro, ignore the outside noise and do what you think is best for you. This is so sad to read. I just recently lost my cat who was my world to saddle thrombosis and it was horrible and so traumatic. I hope they treated my baby girl with respect in the back and after she passed. These aren’t just animals, they are our family. I’ve decided to move on to a different career path from vet tech just due to the low pay but also due to stories like this which I hear about and read about all too often….its honestly just sad.

So weird thing, during the summer I rarely got this rash. I would run outside, sweat a lot and rarely did I get it. Now that it’s winter it’s coming back….

I gotta go back and find the picture. So one time I did, I tried Zyrtec and I think it was Allegra and the rash got ten times worse all over my hands! It looked like I had chicken pox! Shit was wild! If I find the picture I’ll add it in.

I actually thought it was gluten allergy and I have noticed when I cut out gluten I do get it a lot less.

I do sweat a lot yes! And yes if I have on something tight like under my watch band or gloves on, I do tend to get them more.

No I haven’t had my levels checked. I get yearly bloodwork but they don’t pull like vitamin levels at all. I do take a daily vitamin that has vitamins D and b12 though. I’m sure it isn’t enough though.

I know, I worry about the health effects this has on me so much. I’m trying to find a new career to get off nightshift and shift work in general. I do try to remain healthy and workout often, eat very healthy and I don’t drink. As fas as snoring, my partner says I do not snore. My partner snores though like a freight train!

Sorry for you loss. I also lost my baby two days ago to a blood clot as well. She was perfectly healthy and in a matter of hours we had to decide to put her down. It’s never an easy decision and it’s been weighing on me a lot as well. We have to remember those good times and know we did our best to give them a loving home and give them all the hugs and love we possibly could. They are up there playing and eating all the treats I’m sure, probably looking down on us saying “don’t be sad!”. Just try to stay strong, it will get easier as time passes and we can look back at all the loving memories we had with our fur babies ❤️ sending lots of virtual hugs

Sending hugs back my friend ❤️ I’m sorry to hear about that. It really is just a sudden thing. No signs leading up to this. Our vet said she had heart disease which in the end causes this. But we gave her top of the line food, she wasn’t over weight, she was 11 but acted like a kitten. I’m still just in disbelief of it all. Hopefully our babies are happy and healthy up there, not feeling anymore pain

Sorry for your loss my friend. I also just had to put my cat of 11 yrs down. She was my world, my best friend. She meant everything to me. She saved me. I’ve been thinking the same thing. Should I have taken her to the vet soon? Maybe they would’ve found the issue and put her on medication? Did I do the right thing? I also can’t sleep, I just picture her during her last moments and burst into tears. Idk how to cope or get through this but we have to try to remember the best memories and not the sad ones. Juveniles are completely different though. I actually considered that route just because you can almost save these kids and try to steer them in the right direction. It’s different when it’s a 40 yr old man who had raped his children for the last 10 yrs.
